What Is The Best K Cup Coffemaker?

July 7, 2009

The Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System is, in my opinion, the top of the line and the best value for your money.  It has 2 brewing temperatures and provides 3 different cup sizes.  The 48-ounce water reservoir is removable, making it much easier to fill.  The B60 is also very well built and very sturdy.  This coffeemaker has a lot of chrome trim and blue LED backlighting making it a perfect fit for the decor of your modern kitchen.  And, unlike other brands,  the varieties of coffee that will work in the Keurig B60 are almost unlimited thanks to the special Keurig My K Cup Reusable Coffee Filter.

How Does A K Cup Coffeemaker Work?

July 7, 2009

The water for brewing is held in a reservoir, and depending on the model, this can be anywhere from 8-ounces to 60-ounces.  Some models can be left on continuously, and others turn off automatically, with heating times ranging from 1 to 3 minutes.   After placing a coffee pod in the maker, the pod is pierced and hot water is forced through the pod for maximum brewing efficiency.  And Voila!  One perfect cup of coffee – everytime!

Why Would Anyone Want A Coffeemaker That Only Brews One Cup?!

July 7, 2009

How many times have you made a full pot of coffee only to pour half of it down the drain because you didn’t have time to finish it before work?  And wouldn’t it be great if EVERY cup tasted as good as the first cup out of the pot?  That last, bottom-of-the-pot cup of coffee is often strong enough to jump out of the cup and smack you!  With a K Cup Coffemaker, you and your guests can each enjoy your favorite coffee blend – no more fighting over French Vanilla or Breakfast blend.   Single use coffeemakers are also very easy to use and clean.  The single-serve coffees come in sealed pods that lift easily out of the pot with no messy coffee grounds to deal with.

What is a K Cup Coffeemaker?

July 7, 2009

A K Cup Coffeemaker is a term used to reference the Keurig Single-Cup At-Home coffee brewing systems.  These systems allow you to brew one, single cup of perfectly brewed coffee at a time.  The coffee for these systems is stored in a K Cup, or Pod.  You simply drop the pod into the coffeemaker, hit the start button, and when the coffee is done brewing, easily remove the mess-free pod for disposal.  The systems offer various brewing strengths and cup sizes range from 7.25-ounces to 11.25-ounces.
